Welcome

Hello, and welcome.

Congratulations on taking the first steps toward achieving a better, more balanced life for yourself and/or loved ones.  Therapy is a brave journey that not enough people embark upon, but for the ones that do, the benefits can be profound.

If you are struggling with a relationship, work, anxiety, codependency, addiction or life transitions, please feel free to pick up the phone and give me a call or send me a message. I can provide you with a 20 minute free phone session to determine if I can be a good fit for getting your needs met.

I began my journey as a therapist before I even consciously chose my career path.  While working on my BA in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz, I volunteered at Santa Clara County's Suicide and Crisis Hotline Services.  Finding this to be interesting, and rewarding work, I decided, "this is for me."  I then went to grad school at Santa Clara University and graduated with a Master's in Counseling Psychology in 2011.  Since graduating, I have had the privilege to work with families, individuals, children (as young as 5 years old), teenagers, LGBTQ+ community and couples.  I have worked in schools, residential facilities, day treatment programs, outpatient clinics and now my own private practice.  When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time in the garden, hiking, practicing yoga and baking cookies while listening to funky jams.
